Pool Leak Detection & Repair Pool leak detection is a specialized service designed to locate and identify leaks within your pool's structure, plumbing system, or equipment. Using advanced diagnostic methods such as pressure testing, dye testing, sonar technology, and underwater inspections when necessary, our technicians can accurately pinpoint the source of water loss. If a leak is located inside the pool and can be repaired with a patch during the inspection, the repair will be completed immediately at no additional cost. Any patch applied during the leak detection process is included in the leak detection fee. If a major leak is discovered that cannot be repaired during the leak detection process, AMA Pools will provide a separate estimate for the necessary repair work. No additional repairs will be performed without the customer's prior approval. The leak detection fee is separate from the cost of any repairs that may be required. Warranty Leak detection services and any patches applied during the inspection are covered by a 30-day warranty. Any plumbing repairs performed as a result of the leak detection are covered by a 90-day warranty from the date of repair. This warranty applies exclusively to the specific area repaired and covers defects in workmanship and materials provided by AMA Pools. The warranty does not cover unrelated plumbing components, additional leaks discovered after the repair, structural movement, ground shifting, pool shell cracks, equipment failures, or future leaks occurring outside the repaired area.
